What is the time change difference? Does anyone know what time qualifying is today at the n24 and the race tomorrow? EST.

I don't know if you guys are watching but this Q session is awesome. An R8 and SLS are wheel to wheel right now bumping each other!!

You should hear Hindy on the broadcast, going nuts!

Can't wait! The aussie V8's are on speed right now holding me over. I think it must be yesterday's replay but these guys are hauling ass around this track.

 

The radio LeMans guys were commenting on an Audi vs. Mercedes fight, but the live footage just showed the F1 car drive around the track.

What happened between the Audi and the Merc? Sigh, really wanted to see that footage!!

 

An SLS and a merc were both on their "fast" laps with the SLS ahead. They were both battling and door to door for almost half a lap neither one giving an inch. It was great racing especially for qualifying.



Only thing is the SLS wasn't in contention for a top time, slight mistake earlier in the lap, and the audi was battling for a top spot if he could have gotten around. Not sure the SLS driver knew this as he was still trying to post the best time he could but that's what the Audi camp was *****ing about.

I didn't see that and yes that should make the opening laps VERY interesting. Do you get a live broadcast in Norway or are you streaming as well?

 

I am streaming Sport1 (41. ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen: Live) on mute and listening to radio LeMans

Occasionally I do hear the German Sport1 commentary, I can understand a little bit (just barely!).

They're talking about the sale of the track on radio LeMans Makes be really sad.

 

Are they broadcasting already? I didn't think it started yet?

From what I've heard whoever owns the track and tried to make it an amusement park basically is a cock and needs to go anyway. Problem is the govt has a lot invested and the option of tear down and selling is possible. I hope someone can step in a grab it and save the track as we know it.

 

AUDI also has a good live feed going as well.

Blew up HUGE on the opening lap. Both banks went.

 

turbos failed?

the cloud behind it looked like back in the good ol' days of CART when one of the turbos would let go.

 

With the way it went and that smoke that's exactly what my thoughts were also. Interesting they clearly both went. Normally one bank would let go and the sudden loss of output doesn't blow the other.
