I'm getting a quality pork shoulder and slow cooking it over night for the finish . . . this is going to be great! WHAT A STORY!
Post #160 'quote' has them....of Post #153 Jim, I had really planned to be there (my birthday!) but logistics were tall. So, we will be cheering your team, from Houston! Good luck, and we are all very proud of you. Rolling two cars out to the Grid is an achievement, already. IMO Alan

Car #40 (SCG002 suffered a serious accident but with no injuries. The SCG Facebook page posted: "It has been an hard day for the team. We lost a car in an accident. The driver walk unhurt after hitting the barrier at a speed of over 190Km/h. Macchina2 front structure absorbed an incredible amount of energy and the new safety seat contained and protected the driver. A lot of tears were spent from the team members, drivers mechanics, engineers, but this is the Ring, this is the NORDSCHLEIFE! It does not forgive, and we learnt it the hard way. Now the team is united and back to work, getting ready for tomorrow qualifying. A lot of work to do after a big hug that has made everybody more strong, determined to fight up to the end. This is motorracing as we love it, as we live it!"
