    I am searching confirmation, that the very fast 206 S that won its Race at Goodwood 2025 in the hands of Frank Stippler indeed ist a recreation.

    And how was it so fast? I realize Goodwood is not LeMans and the 206S no doubt had higher cornering speeds, but the GT40s did not appear to pull away on the straights. Was the 206S that fast in period?

    The driving was amazing. Thrilling to watch. No idea about the car, hope it's not a fake.

    Yes, very impressive.
    Especially when you consider how the nimble Elvas had no chance against the GT40s on the straights, only to fight back in the twisty sections.
    I think it is telling, that no one ever speaks about the serial number of this 206...
