Its a weak upgrade. Wp which does nothing for $$$$ and rear seats. Wow wee.

Best thing is what they did not do. No hybrid or turbo

Yup, it's insane but I don't blame Porsche for wanting to capture more of the market share and to get a piece of the Admin's their dealers are charging.

GT3's are great cars but IMO waaaay overpriced! Can't imagine paying close to $300K after checking options and paying sales tax.

My 991.2 GT3 was a great car but I never grabbed the keys to the GT3 when I had the choice to drive that or my 2008 Ferrari Scuderia.

Every 911 product Porsche produces is so far superior to any Ferrari car. I’m always surprised at Ferrari people throwing stones at Porsches. Ferraris are a fun and a historic novelty, but they’re not even in the same universe as a Porsche.

Having owned both ... yes, Porsche makes the better car, and for track use a GT3 is a great choice. I also enjoy turning the key on my older 911 and not worrying whether it will start.

Ferrari still has some level of exclusivity, though, that modern Porsches don't. The flipside of this is that the service/spares support from Porsche is excellent, while there are too many unobtainium bits on even relatively recent Ferraris such as an F430. Prices/values reflect this -- Porsche invests heavily in its "Classic" car program.

If I buy another one, I’ll look for a low mileage 2018 in a manual. I drove a new one a year or two ago - wasn’t what I thought it would be.

While I love my particular F car, I agree completely. Plus, while I have my favs, there is something from each generation that is appealing to me, which makes room for plenty of treasure hunts :)
