Unfortunately, I'll be attending my college's 50-year reunion, an event I understandably don't want to miss. I hope there is a good turnout and everyone enjoys the day.

Sorry, but it’s too long a day and not enough F car awards pro rata…

I'll likely go, but I miss Norcross... It's great of the dealer to make such accommodation, but it's an island out there.

The park in Acworth for their cruises is great, other parks in Roswell are open to shows.... FoA can be the title sponsor...Maybe in 2025 we can switch the venue up.

Been wanting to write something similar, but hesitated. Now that it's apparent I'm not the only one who feels this way, here goes....

I love the dealership as much as the rest of us, and am very thankful they host events and support the community, but a change in scenery now and then would be nice. We already do Cars and Coffee there 6 times per year or so (and now even the December holiday party too), so why not do something different for this once-a-year event?

I'm right there with Steve, missing the good ol' days in the Norcross park, and (what used to be) the sprawling grounds of Kurt's restaurant in Duluth. Anything with grass and space.

Admittedly I'm ignorant on what it takes to set up an event in a nice park, town square, or other private venue, and maybe there are reasons it doesn't happen beyond my knowledge. But when I see tons of pictures online of other Ferrari clubs parked in beautiful scenery, it makes me question why all our events are in the dealership parking lot.

I'll be there but bringing my little Gilera motorcycle instead of the Ferrari this year.

The Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville has built a pavilion specifically for events like car shows, and there is plenty of adjacent grass if that is preferred. They put on a car show a couple of weekends ago (which I had to miss because of a wedding) which has gotten rave reviews. They have a very good cafe on the premises and can also bring in food trucks. I know that Cartersville is rather far for some, but it is only once a year.

(Incidentally, the Savoy recently won a national poll which rated it "Best Automotive Attraction" ahead of older museums like the Petersen, Batber and LeMay.)

Where were you, Mitch? I never saw you! I was parked next to Jim Weed's 400.

Hiya we did drive the 308 but we didn't have time to enter the car. We were only able to stay for about 45 minutes and raced home and got my Porsche and ran over to German Car Day. Same day, exact same time in downtown Norcross.

Its mostly because they dont charge a fee. I believe Norcross started to charge a larger fee, and were not as easy to work with - meaning times available etc. We used to do Corso down in Buckhead, but the Streets of Buckhead just did not want it any more... and wanted huge $$$ so the dealer was much more accommodating.

All true, but a long way for most Ferrari owners to go for a car's and coffee event.

Well, Tom, that depends on where you live. Back when ICD was held at Kurt's, that was farther for me than Savoy is today. And Norcross was nearly as far. After all, it's only one day a year.
