Hello all, I decided to say goodbye to my MY2021 718 Spyder which as you may know it's technically the Gt4 convertible. As much as I enjoy it, I think I will end up driving my son's 4c spider which he refuses to sell when he is off to med school in New York next month and my 458. The car is meticulously well cared for and maintained regularly at Rusnak Porsche where I specced the car at. No smoking. No track. No mod. I have the title in hand. No stories at all. Priced to sell given the allocation is almost impossible to obtain and with huge mark up. I am artistically challenged which you can tell by the pictures, but as limited as my photographic skills are, even these pictures allow you to see the beauty of this car. It is stunning in person. I haven gotten more looks and thumbs up in this car than my 458. Bittersweet! Lol Chalk color with classic package in the bordeaux red is simply the best color combo in my opinion. In my opinion this is the best enthusiast’s contemporary car going, dollar for dollar. I prefer to “row my own,” though. Good luck, not that you’ll need it!
Good point! I remembered my last GT4 manual experience with the second gear being quite long. The 718 and 981 are using the same manual too, so I opted for pdk which is same pdk they used on the GT3, as I was told. Porsche not only fixed the gearing ratio, the car ended up 0.5 seconds faster in 0 to 60 with more torques. Thanks! We are all saddened that he is leaving California. I am secretly more saddened because he could have brought the 4c with him if he got in California school, and I don't have to sell the Spyder. . He is going to Einstein. Crazy match list. He better come back to drive his own car. lol.
