Auction 2021 Lotus Evora GT | Rare 'British Racing' Empire Green, mint condition at only 596 miles

Sackey & Co. is proud to present this 2021 Lotus Evora GT finished in Empire Green Metallic over Black with red and silver stitching interior with only 596 miles from new.

The original Evora was introduced in 2009 as Lotus’ answer to the Porsche 911 and its unique mix of sports car credentials, GT car comfort, and 4-seat usability. With a storied racing legacy dating back to the early years of Formula One, Lotus is best known for their lightweight high performance sports cars, and despite its added focus on comfort and daily functionality, the Evora is no exception. Motoring critics sang the Evora’s praises upon introduction, often noting the uniquely immersive driving experience offered by the car's compact frame and unmatched handling, and named the Evora both Evo Car of the Year and Autocar’s Best British Driver’s Car in 2009.

The Evora GT, the final model in the Evora range, was introduced in the model year 2020 and brought several mechanical changes to the Evora platform. It featured a mid-mounted, supercharged 3.5 liter V6 and various weight saving features, including Sparco carbon-fiber front seats, a magnesium steering wheel, and a carbon fiber composite rear bumper, A-panels, rear wheel ducts, and sill covers. With a curb weight of only 3,175 lbs and 416 horsepower from the supercharged V6, the Evora GT travels from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 188 mph.

All Evora GTs are fitted with AP Racing brakes and a sport suspension package consisting of Eibach coil springs and Bilstein sport shock absorbers. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires are standard. Aerodynamically, the Evora GT improves upon its predecessor the Evora 400, with the front lip spoiler, front wheel arch louvers, rear wheel ducts, and underbody diffuser providing double the available downforce.

Drivers can select from Drive, Sport, and Race modes, the latter two giving quicker throttle response and allowing more traction slip before activating stability control. The car also features important modern comforts, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, GPS, and backup camera as standard.

A total of 535 USA Evora GTs (276 in ‘19 and 259 in ‘20) were built with a 6-speed manual transmission. An additional 187 USA Evora GTs were built with a 6-speed automatic.

The car on offer here, SCCLMDDN1MHA10530, was purchased by the current owner from a Pennsylvania dealership at just 28 miles, and currently reads only 596 miles. This example is one of only a few 2021 models finished in ‘British Racing’ Empire Green Metallic. It was built with the options of a 6-speed manual transmission, “High Power” silver wheels, black brake calipers, black seat inserts with red and silver stitching, body color interior pack, and subwoofer & amplifier.

Building on the legacy of the original Evora, the Evora GT is widely considered one of the best pure driver’s cars brought to market in recent years.
