Charles and Carlos ( father and son ) looked pretty happy half an hour before the test ends. That’s all I wanted to see. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Exactly my thoughts. How the hell they didn’t incorporate a slim nose last year ? Looks like the COVID really paralyzed Italy for six months. Mercedes and Red Bull were smarter during this lockdown I presume..
Mazepin is an ass...I’ve watched some of his previous antics. He has the potential to rekindle memories of Maldonado. Reckless and confrontational.
Good post—thanks. Tried to rewind (?) the streaming to see that again. Like I said, good effort by Charlos;-) considering he didn’t have as many quali runs as the others and on the softer tires even Brundle had to admit that the car came alive. That’s Charles there beside Sr., yes?
Well, be that as it may, his radio message was funny. To these young guys, racing is like a video game combined with huge social media support. This one comment of his was like a capsule of today’s society. I guess it’s appropriate that he’s the new Magnussen.
It seems that The Scuderia has spent so much efforts, understandably on the engine trans that no aerodynamic progress was necessarily made. They were knocked so much on the back foot that all their efforts were clawing back as much as what was lost rather than pushing innovation. Any innovation was used to fill the void. I’m tired of Mercedes formula racing series. I won’t be attending any races. I won’t be buying any F1 merchandise or products.
There we go he did ask for it https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/31062528/mick-schumacher-requested-father-msc-timing-screen-name
I hope Haas can keep his head in the game. Sucks for Mick to have to be paired with a guy like that. I am hopeful that having the chance to drive in the big leagues will humble him a little. I very much doubt it though...

It is fascinating... Only three days of testing this year and get on with the racing. Teams cannot blink in this scenario. The midfield battle is going to be a highlight this year as nobody wants to yield -- very intense. I'm looking forward to the first race. Merc powered teams need to find the gearbox issue, otherwise they are going to be nervous in two weeks.
