Great drive by Seb! And Charles, although unlucky at the end.
Have to feel for Stroll. He looked like he was cruising to victory for the first half of the race.

And - gee it pains me to say it - but Elton did very well today. He does seem to have unbelievable luck in every race, but he made the call to stay out and made it work. Well done.

 

I think the disadvantage of the Mercedes not being able to bring the tires on temperature at the beginning was an advantage at the end when the Mercedes seemed to be the only car not completely cooking the inters. In the beginning Lewis was nowhere (apart from off track 3 times) and at the end he was dominating

The Ferraris did well!! Amazingly well!!

See how disappointed Charlie boy was with himself at the end of the race when we walked past Lewis when Lewis was sitting/getting out of his car.

 

At least Chuck had a go for second so nice to see a racer in the team

Doesn't look like Vettel has lost his ability to me?

Max was overdriving as usual.

Good on Lewis, even with the fastest car you still have to drive it. Ask Bottas.

 

Excellent comment. Also Perez's was an amazing drive - his front tyres were in worse condition than Lewis' at the end.

 

I drive a GTR, so know how he feels.

Yes, Perez is a very good driver in the race.

Probably without a drive next year.

Hamilton just lost a three year court battle to restrain Hamilton Watches from using the name "Hamilton". Hamilton Watches (I think the only US watch company) has been around since 1892. What a wanker.

 

That's just crazy, I wonder how much money this stupid idea cost him.

 

Not if you understand IP law. Hamilton watches got the trademark rights to "Hamilton" only 3 years ago. They can block any product with the word Hamilton in its name.

 

He's still a wanker. Ronnie O'Sullivan, the world snooker champion said Hamilton's winning is like him winning tournaments where his pockets were bigger than his opponents. True dat.
