Hi all, I just purchased this car at the beginning of this month as a daily driver. Unfortunately, I live on dirt roads, and the ride height is a bit too low for my use. - 700 +/- miles - Highly optioned $66,870 MSRP - Iridium Silver Metallic over Black Dinamica red cut leather - At time of purchase, the only one with the "AMG Performance Seat" option in the country. ($2,500) The Bad: As mentioned earlier, I live on dirt roads. And Sunday I managed to clip a large rock with the lower splitter. Car is currently in the shop to have the entire front bumper replaced. Damage is minor, but the front bumper is all one piece so the whole thing needs to be replaced. As such, I am willing to take a large hit on this. Asking $55K. Basically getting a brand new car for a hefty discount due to my mishap. Full factory warranty transfers. There are (used) cars out there at a similar price point, but not this highly optioned and not with the AMG seats. Pictures to follow as car is in the shop. Window sticker attached so you can go to the website and see the options. This car is a little ripper, and a true AMG (unlike the 43's). Let me know should you have any questions. Thanks! In the meantime, the first few photos in the link below are the dealer photos from when I bought it a few weeks ago. https://www.google.com/search?q=wddtg5cbxkj597664&client=firefox-b-1-d&sxsrf=ACYBGNSRqG5QyC6TRtQ-LCKSlCtBTiCUOw:1571856177050&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=gqD9UwNKOWJE2M%253A%252Cuz8p4RvKm04TWM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kQN_yqc-RB1TqhGVQlTmVwALHt-GQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjUo8jIhLPlAhUVnZ4KHZ8JCMMQ9QEwAnoECAkQBg#imgrc=gqD9UwNKOWJE2M:
Yeah, if I was to keep it I'd get it lifted (blasphemy!), but in my inquiries you need to disconnect the active suspension to do so. I haven't even used the launch control or race mode, as it's under 1k miles still. Sigh.
Here are some photos from the other day. Car is a bit dirty (again, dirt roads) but is in pristine like-new condition with exception of aforementioned repairs being done as we speak. These cars are an absolute riot to drive. I think when the engine came out it was one of if not the highest horsepower per displacement engine in production. It felt and drove every bit as fast as my Quilia QV. I sold the QV, and kept the GLA. A real sleeper.
Just sold one, my wife’s car, and you are correct, it was a very fast little car.... suspension can be a bit bone jarring at times, but that’s AMG for you. Well equipped, comfortable, fast, what’s not to like. Bought her an E220 AMG cab, and she already misses the reactions of the 45. You are correct, was (I think now surpassed) the most powerful four pot turbo 2 litre out there. Believe Audi now pip it with the RS3 engine?
The 2019 AMG pumps out 375HP. I think the RS3 may have it beat with 395HP. Even so, quite the ripper. I'm pretty sad it won't work out for me. I thought the ground clearance would be sufficient, but around these parts the roads can vary quite a bit, especially in the winter. Which is fine for anything but a daily driver.
Mine is a 2017 I leased it, thinking such a high strung engine would not be a keeper, but it’s coming off lease with about 40k miles and I will probably buy it, engine and suspension is still as tight as day one.
I've also listed on LeaseTrader in case someone here is interested. The published lease offers I am seeing are around $799/m with $5K down, and are low option (55K-ish MSRP). I'm offering a $67K MSRP build at $889/m with $2K to you. $3K to you if it's an F-Chat member, making the effective payment $826/m with $0 down. Just thought I'd put out the option.
If an F-Chat member is interested, I'm willing to work with you on either purchase price or lease takeover incentive.
Bumping this. Making a payment tomorrow, which leaves 45 payments @ $889.40/m. After $5K incentive, that's $778/m. Currently 1,024 miles. Will go up slightly with use.
