Nice car but best spec on the planet is subjective and this one is not to my taste. glws, welcome to the forum, and thank you for your contributions.
Welcome doc to the team. Any of your med buddies want to take this off your hand? If not, I'm sure you'll find plenty of interest here as this is one unique spec you have. BTW, how are you qualifying "Must show proof of funds to talk"? Do you mean pre-approved for the loan or verification of funds in the bank? ~Andrew

love the spec of the pista. Let me know the best way to connect. I can be reached at blevy (at) brianjlevy (dot) com
Funny. Are there people who just like to talk to Ferrari owners about buying their car, but cannot afford to? Sounds like an odd fetish.
Perhaps and maybe the seller's had a bad experience. But it seems like a pretty heavy-handed approach reserved for higher level cars, not something as relatively pedestrian - no offense to Pista owners, but there's like 60 Pistas on the market and I wouldn't want to do anything to turn away a potential buyer.
Ferrari of Austin is doing the same "I'm better than you" approach as they try and sell a high spec Pista for 550 even though it's got 15k miles.
And that Pista is a bright purple color as well. Along with this baby blue colored Pista in this thread, it seems that the wild colors of Lamborghini have moved into the Ferrari arena, for better or worse. I think I read some years ago, that Ferrari stopped making pink colored cars, unless payment was made in full, up front, at spec selection? Yes/No?

Ladies/Gents-this is not the seller of this car. After texting back and forth with the alleged seller, it turns out this person is not the seller. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. I spoke to the actual owner this morning, who is a gentleman, true car enthusiast etc. Someone called him re his Pista and he answered questions. That person then created the above ad and its a TOTAL and COMPLETE SCAM. stay far far away from this Dr.med account. THE ACTUAL SELLER IS SELLING THE CAR ON AUTOTRADER. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE WHAT PEOPLE ARE UP TO THESE DAYS.
Agree......no one shopping for a Pista will tolerate being spoken to like that. but anyone trying to buy a car and not make a friend will have no issues wow!! There is a special place in hell for these people.
These are the reasons I get on these kinds of for sale ads and post sarcastic welcomes. Just joined, first post, and only come here to sell us something and make money off of the community without being a contributing member at all?........get bent. Hopefully, this thread gets deleted and the email/IP used to create the account is reported.
Wow. So this person was looking to take someone's "proof of funds" and then use that to steal from them in some way? Is the real owner the guy in the video from the Monday night post? Very shady.
FWIW, the fake seller took the ad verbatim from the real seller. So the real seller, gentlemen that he is, is still requiring proof of funds to talk. Just saying....
We had a great chat. Didn't ask about proof of funds. We were unable to agree on a price but will check in down the road assuming car is still available. The seller is an absolute gentleman, "one of us" type.
Even those that "don't need to sell" seem to want to squeeze every dime they can out of the sale. But that's their prerogative. Sent from my SM-F900U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
