If Gurley gets sick the night before the game and doesn't play, I win! He either gets 57 yards or he doesn't. It's like that Mercedes commercial, it's either covered by Mercedes or it isn't.
I was one of those few wise ones that knew never to bet against Brady. Andy Reid cannot and will not ever win a big game. They had the chance to adjust defensively but kept on running the same defense. And on 3rd and 10 about 5 times in 4th quarter and OT the Pats kept converting. That’s on the HC. Get in your D coordinators ear and tell him to try something different cause whatever you’ve done all game isn’t working. Also, Belichick was able to take Tyreek Hill out of the game and Reid couldn’t figure out how to get him back in the game.
But I wasn’t sure if the player has to actually play the game for the bet to be in effect. I thought they refund the bet because the player was not active. Now I understand that if he dresses but doesn’t play, then the bet should still count.
I guess it's possible if a rabid Pats fan were to kidnap him and hold him until the game is over, then they would declare no bet. But I'm not likely to do that ........ or would I?
Latest story on NFL.com implies that he won't be the workhorse today, but would split duty with Anderson. Looks like your kidnap plot just got a bit more complicated! T
Brady was low 70s IIRC late in the game. Great D by Pats, but young Mr. Goff & McVay looked out of their depth...T
