This is our 2nd GT3 position. We sold the 1st. This would be for approximately a Jan.or Feb. Delivery. For a short time it can still be spec'd to your liking. You would be buying the position from us (plus reimbursing the deposit we put down on the car, which becomes your deposit) and then paying MSRP to the Porsche dealer when the car is delivered. You will be the first owner.

For pricing and details PM, email or call. 800-935-9590 [email protected]

Wont know until dealer gives official allocation. Also, hes looking at years plus wait time.

And porsche isnt like ferrari. You dont have to buy from local dealer. If Florida sold out, order from iowa. or Alaska

The car is currently SPEC as a manual transmission. And it is an early 2018 slot. At this point, anybody who's getting an allocation now is looking at 2019. That's why the gentleman in New Jersey only had to put down $250, while we had to write a check for $10,000.

To paraphrase Joni Mitchell (for those of us of a certain age), some people know the price of everything and the value of nothing at all. Whenever I read these kinds of threads, I just get the sense that it is about the quest, rather than the purchase and enjoyment of the car. Might as well buy hog bellies if you merely want to avoid delivery and sell to the next higher bidder. When I had my GT3, it was a daily driver and we put ski racks on top. That use is probably anathema now to the majority of GT3 owners.

you sir, are wise beyond your years ;)

    well said !

our asset bubble world, encouraged by the zeal for yield due to prolonged central bank zero interest rate policies, has created massive distortions, and although financial distortions they are principally distortions in perspective

letting a gt3 sit, just so you can flip it for a profit, constitutes an insult to the machine and to those who designed and built it, let alone your own colossal loss of enjoyment in the name of financial gain

This is typical Frank and demonstrates why, whenever he walks into a room, there's a new smartest person in it. I know this because I was once in a room alone and he walked in...

My 0.2 997 GT3 has 18,000 track miles. GT3 owners probably drive/track the car a higher percentage of the time than most high-end sports car model owners. So, to your ski racks I say "well done." I love seeing the stories in Panorama of the 200,000 mile cars that still look great, run well and were never spoiled--just well cared for.
