Folks are paying for secure storage and there are a bunch of multi-million dollar cars in there so it is a good thing that the pics are not in play.

We are lucky that they open the door at all. No one wants some hoody wearing xyz to rob the place.

That is true, they are paying for secure storage but not private storage. I do not fault them but I will not go. They let people look, just no photos.

Here is the response from Rise And Drive. I do understand their position. I am more ashamed of owners who want to hide their rare cars. Maybe they can get some of the more open owners to show their wonderful cars with a small display.

The let them look is limited to some cars kept toward the front of the building.

I was given an end to end tour when I was trying to figure out where to keep my new NSX a year and a half ago.

Stuff like the F1, the pair of P1s (one in Prost helmet livery and the other in Senna helmet livery), LaFerrari are kept away from prying eyes.

My understanding is that a subset of the owners are super high wealth folks that collect rare investment cars in part for their >10% annual return on investment.

CCG would be out of business if some hoody types did a quick inventory during a cars and coffee, and then came back after hours and helped themselves to someone's 7 to 8 figure ride.

I appreciate them opening their facilities to total strangers. I went there the first 2 years but now that i live in Naperville, it's just not worth it for me to drive 80 miles.

Good to have her out again. Hoping for a calm summer so I can drive her at least once a week.

13091 my dad bought the car from Lyle Tanner in 1987. The car became mine in 2004, when he died.

For those new to Chicago/ summer car scene in Chicago, Supercar Saturdays start this Saturday in South Barrington. I can’t be there, but it should be a good turnout.
