first PCA lunch! about 9 cars and 15 people. everyone was nice! no engineering discussions except how to use zipties to continue on rally if your vintage Porsche points worn down so much it doesn't fire. :D

umm hell no, I'm still not crazy about some of the old school Lamborghini guys, but there is entire group in DFW of newer Lamborghini guys that are more just car fans have Ferraris, McLarens, and Porsches too. I think they are more true car enthusiasts than most buying new Ferraris now.

Nicely optioned. The only thing I would have added is the long range fuel tank. However, the car is pretty darn good gas mileage so fuel range wasn't too much of a problem on rallies.

is the Sharkwerks cat back, or did it include the high flow cats?

my 6-GT3 had Fabspeed cat back exhaust and had no problems passing California's ridiculous emissions.

who knows, when you look under it says Sharkwerks, that's the cat back. Are the cats visible?

The Sharkwerks is a cat back unless someone replaced headers/cat delete pipes.

I love driving it 2-3 times a week, looking forward to another track day and PCA gatherings. It isn't a Ferrari, but it is better than the California feel, handling, sound, power, and looks. So I love it more than the California. I did like the California for family trips Mia in back and also some days putting top down. I could see myself getting back into the Cali 30 or T when prices drop more, but not sure I can get rid of the GT3 now.

Very nice and a Ferrari is no Gt3 that's for sure. And its nice to have a car and a group that actually tracks. Lost so much interest/passion in Ferrari's after driving them and then going to the Gt3. I think I need to dig back to the older Ferrari's to get that more direct feel I loved so much in the gt3 and ruggedness on the track(though maybe no ferrari will be much of a track car outside the challenge cars). Maybe the Scud is the perfect Ferrari for me one day. The 458 was just way too soft/numb compared to the gt3 actually my 991 turbo had that more similar soft 458 feel, though of course much faster than the 458. Love me a 355 but the horror stories always kept me away.

I think modern cars besides the gt3, just don't interest me much anymore. Apologies for the rambling

Glad to hear you're enjoying your car.

I bought a Jag Ftype about 6 months ago. I wanted V8 front engine, RWD, lot's of power and low maintenance. I'd had a bunch of 911's and just wanted to take a break. The Jag is a good car and drives great. I screwed up though, I wish I would have bought another 911.
    Glad you are enjoying yours.

I'd wait on the NSX as it will only keep going down. It is however still a 'latest toy' type car so it may be most economical to do a short term lease of one and let the leasing company deal with moving it on in a few months.

McLaren is a great choice and there are lots of options out there.

the brand new ones from dealer selling $30-50k under MSRP are tempting! but I know they will even go lower than that.

I really like the specs and idea of the McLaren cars, but the styling just doesn't do it for me. My vote is R8. Not that you care....
