A friend of mine has a beautiful '73 450 Scrambler. It's beautiful, light and a blast to ride. I went to the NYC motorcycle show last week and saw all the new Scrambler variants and have to say I was very disappointed, it doesn't hold a candle to the original IMO, it's to big and heavy. It should have been a light air cooled single like the original. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That bike is PRECIOUS! I wonder if Ducati is going up against the Sportster with their Scrambler instead of replicating the original. I've always been a fan of HD's most fun bike but would rather avoid their dealerships. For me, this new Scramber trumps the Sporty any day. Interesting note about the single, BMW has a 650 single that fits the bill (power, economy, emissions, etc).
Just Buy an S4R 800M Monster and be done with it. Probably the best usable bike ever built, followed by the 1100 Monster
I had a 2007 S4Rs and sold it. It was too beautiful to ride. Plus my location sucks for anything much bigger than this Scrambler.
For 2017, Ducati is adding their Cafe Racer to the Scrambler line. Pretty cool right from the beginning. Ducati Scrambler . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
