Hopefully one of these days we can get the group down here to Southbury Starbucks Happy New Year all!
Feeling a bit disappointed. I've been waiting since midnight for Saint Bastage to create a new 2015 Ongoing Connecticut Gathering thread but nothing so far. Just not the same without the founder. - Ed -
Here's your chance Jay, move it to Southbury Starbucks in 2015 with a nice cruise up 67 into Roxbury and New Milford!
I guess I would need to know what they serve in Farmington. Is it just a bakery and coffee, or can I get eggs, bacon, home fries and toast? If I'm going to ditch work, I need more reward.

Ken's Corner in glastonbury is more the ihop type menu but way better. I have been to Ken's. Good portions and food is good. Never been to truffles but have been told it has great food but may be more upscale breakfast then simple flap jacks, bacon and sausage, etc...
Pickleworks is the same as Kens, but owned by a friend of mine. I sometimes go there prior to C&C on Sunday's. I enjoy it, and they have maple butter.
There's Effies Place in west hartford - 91 Park Rd, West Hartford, CT. Looks like a good hearty menu too. Menu - Effies Place Family Restaurant, West Hartford, CT
I found The Sloppy Waffle. Brendon, i think you will like this place. Check that menu, they have some great options. menu - MENU Yelp with pics- The Sloppy Waffle - Newington, CT | Yelp
I'm looking for a real breakfast so I vote for Pickle Works at 8am. I can be there earlier if you wish.
I'm game for PW @ 8 as well. Do most people have off tomorrow or will there be a lot of traffic through Hartford? Trying to gauge how early i have to get up and leave.
Wow. Bring up the subject of food and you get three pages of posts in one day! I'm unfortunately otherwise-occupied, but I'll be in Glasto on Sunday in one of my daily drivers, following Phil's scolding
Just saw this post... I'll be there.... It will be tough getting up that early. I'm on retired time!!! Phil
