    Hello CCR racers:

    I am pleased to announce that we have a new online registration system for CCR. After making your profile, the registration for each event will be easy

    Registration for Round 1, the support Race for the 12 Hours of Sebring, (March 13-16 ) is found on the website www.challengeclubracing.com

    Please register now.

    CCR has spectacular news coming in the next week. The series will be brought to a completely new level. The social parties and infrastructure will rival any series pro or am in North Amercia, and will set a new standard for hospitality and the luxury lifestyle of top Italian sports car racing.

    The budget for social parties and infrastructure for CCR will nearly double in 2013, yet with added sponsors and partners we will announce, the entry cost will stay low. The value brought to the events next year will exceed anything to date.

    I don't see how to register for the event, only membership renewal fee and set-up. Also, when is the schedule for Sebring going to be posted?

    Also info is there for hotel.

    I am waiting on IMSA, they will have the actual times of the run groups and races soon.

    FYI, If you want more track time at the sebring 12 hour, see if you can sign up for the SVRA. They have a class for the 355,360 and 430 challenge cars.

    Highly recommend doing that. In addition to running CCR this event last year I also did the SVRA sprints and enduro. The latter race had 90 cars take the green, everything from MGBs and Austins to Audi LMP LeMans winners. It was a blast! I took 2nd in class in both races to a wickedly fast BMW M1. Lots of fun to share the track with such a diverse group of cars.

    We are reviewing all 2012 specifications for a final decision on 2013 specs.

    355: identical specs as 2012
    360: identical specs as 2012

    430: specs will be identical in all respects except for potential weight adjustment for 430 with exhaust and ECU modifications from stock. Last year we set the weight for these modifications about 20lbs lighter than recommendations. We are reviewing the data now and will make our findings ASAP.

    We are in the silly season now with all preparations for the new season so please bear with us.

    Just want to be sure i got this correct . In free practice one can practice with the exhaust and weight penalty and swap it out for oem system to do a back to back evaluation .
    After qualifying one has to stick to the option that the car qualified with.
    Have i got this correct ?
