That is one gorgeous GT, Bob --- GLWS. Should move quick, I would think.

Thanks. Not entirely convinced I'm doing the right thing to be honest. If the 612 moves, I may take this one off sale. I'm telling myself I want to replace one GT with a better family car that doesn't have the quirkiness of an Italian, but I also have a sickness for changing cars and am just in my annual blood burn.

One of these passed me in the city (S.F.) and the exhaust note was the SICKEST!!! Made my 360 Capristo sound like a sewing machine!

BTW Bob, I'm still waiting on a full sized image of your 430 avatar...............

There's some black magic in that exhaust. Sweetest I've ever heard except maybe the 599 GTO. Maybe. Damn, maybe I should keep her.

I'll post up that pic of the F430 later.

What is a better family car than this? Panamera turbo perhaps?

Bingo. But then I started leaning 2012 MB S550. I like the new style and in 2012 they upped the accelleration to 0-60 in 4.9 sec. But I'm starting to believe this is a mistake. I have the Cayenne TTS. I'm just in my annual blood burn to change rides. I think I'm going to take the Maser off the market. Just about certain. May ask this thread be deleted shortly.

    Bob,

Have to ask, as in a way both the 612 and the Maser are similar cars. Both excellent GTs. How do you compare? Can an adult sit in the back of the 612?

Was asked that initially when I bought the Maser as well. I tried to articulate an answer, but really kinda lack the vocabulary. And I'm not so great a driver either, so you're not going to get a performance assessment, over steer or under steer, etc. Wish I could help. What I can say is that the 612 pulls better, more torque. 612 initially feels more nimble, but I think the Maser is pretty comparable, input is just a little heavier maybe. The Maser salon initially appears nicer, but further inspection you find that the leather is too delicate. Conversely the 612 is covered with bits that can, will and do get sticky. Mine's in pretty good shape, but there are a few pieces that could do with resurfacing. The Maser sounds better, amazing in fact. The exhaust note while different than a Ferrari flat plane and especially a 12, is the sweetest sounding exhaust I've ever heard. They are indeed very comparable cars though. And it was a fool's errand to think they'd get a lot of family usage. I bought four seaters for that purpose, doubled down on it. But it really never happens that all four seats are full. My latest blood burn to change cars has been to rationalize I need neither and should instead have one kickin' Ferrari and the Cayenne TTS for everything else. All I know at this point is that my rationale to get rid of the Maser for another family car makes zero ****ing sense other than to indulge my desire to switch rides. Anyway, back to the comparison. The Maser is the looker of the two by popular demand anyway. I think 612 is crazy awesome, very underrated. But in a popularity contest, Granturismo wins. What else to add, dunno.
