I recently acquired a CGT and since it arrived I honestly haven't even driven my 12C. Not that I don't like it, it's truly been a wonderful car. It's just that the CGT has become my car of choice for the occasional super car thrill. I never like seeing a nice car sit unused and am realizing it's probably time for it to move on to it's next caring owner.

    Here's the scoop:
2012 12C Coupe, Volcano Orange, Black leather, Orange stitching. "Swipe" doors, 2nd owner, no damage, 11,300 miles, extended factory warranty, sn1622

After a lengthy search, I purchased this car in December of 2014 CPO'ed from Mclaren Greenwich with 2,900 miles on it. It was under factory warranty until April '15. I Purchased a 3-yr extended factory warranty at the time of purchase which is good until December 2017, or maybe April 2018, I have to check. Prior to delivery, I had the dealer install clear bra and an integrated Passport 9500ci radar / laser jammer system. I quickly became fed up with the IRIS 1 and had an IRIS2 installed during my first service. Even though it had the Sport exhaust, I thought it was a little too quiet and didn't like the Interior Sound Generator, so I had an AWE full exhaust system installed, with carbon tips. I also prefer the factory Stealth Super Light Weight wheels and acquired a set and put Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's on. The car now has 11,300 miles on it. It's been very reliable and dependable and is in great condition with no accident or damage history and no known problems. It's been serviced annually by Mclaren Philly as they are closer to me than Greenwich. I'm looking for it to go to an appreciative new owner at a fair price for both parties. I'm thinking $141,000

PM me if interested, I have more pics and info.

Nice car, I've been looking at these recently.

Does this have the software update to 616hp?

Wow. That is a lot of car for the price. Amazing how much these have depreciated. Not sure I understand why.

Yes it does. All 12C's were offered the 616hp software upgrade for free when the 650 came out and were done for free at their next service by the dealer.

+1 that's a lot of car for the money.

This one seems well taken care of and price fair. If you don't mind me asking, is the interior sound generator basically engine noise through the speakers? Or is it a pipe like Ford uses?

I'm a huge fan of carbon fiber when it comes to making things lighter, stronger, stiffer, and safer, but I've never been a fan of adding CF just for bling. This car is just how I would have ordered it myself.

This isn't a lot of car for the money, this is A TON of car for the money. Just got my 12c about 3 weeks ago, holy crap these cars are so much better than I thought a car could be. Carbon tub, 3k lbs, active aero, amazing brakes, awesome suspension, etc... Did I say goes like a bat out of hell?

Glws sale, car is priced very fairly.

    H,
do you still have the F355? One of my buddy has a 12C that I get to drive sometimes. It is a hell of a car...fast and adaptable on the fly to any driving environment with true simple touch of a few buttons/dials. nice pick up there!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. It is a great car, and I believe the biggest bang for your super car buck.

I confirmed the warranty was extended by Mclaren at my time of my purchase until 11/29/2017.

+1 I bought a 2013 12c spider 3 weeks ago. Amazing car for the money. I drove it back from Dallas to the West Coast and it was a pleasure to drive even for 29 hrs. I was surprised that it didn't melt in the rain, the bugs didn't ruin the paint and it was really fun putting 2500 miles on it instead of looking at it in a garage.......

Welcome to the club :D It's too bad you didn't buy it a few weeks sooner though. I bought a 12C spider a few months ago and immediately hit the road for an almost 12,000 mile around-the-country drive. Spent some time in SF last month with a few other McLaren guys you should meet (look up Dave_Car_Guy on the McLaren forum). Oddly enough, I celebrated the night before leaving DC by finally drinking that '99 Barolo you sent many years ago. Fantastic stuff!

Back on topic, I agree completely with the sentiment that these are the steal of the century right now, and this car looks poised to get scooped up fairly quickly to make another McLaren convert. GLWS!
