I see a flood of 2010's on the market but it is hard to get the real market price for the cars with less than 10,000 miles.

There seems to be fewer 2011 for sale and at much higher prices.

    What is the real difference?

You need a warranty to own the California.

FIrst off u need a warranty covering AT LEAST engine, transmission and gearbox.

    AT LEAST.

Second, 2010 Calis are FULL of problems, many of which solved or corrected in later versions.

If u buy a 2010, be ready for troubles. So don't offer more than 110k dollars.

I will somewhat agree that more problems are fixed in the 11's but I owned a 2010 and sold it at about 29,000 miles. It had a couple of the standard problems, wiring with air bags, loud vibration from transmission cooler when temperature is below freezing (fixed with software in the 10, later models moved the transmission cooler to the rear of the car), but nothing else spectacular. It had one top sensor go out but the dealer sorted it out Very quickly. It was delivered in December 2009 so it was a very early '10. I'd take it again in a heartbeat.

I will certainly agree that the power train warranty is important. These things can be very expensive to fix even though I consider them to be very reliable.

I have a '12 FF and '12 Cali that I will be looking into getting additional warranty when the time comes.

nonsense. i have 39,500 miles on my 2010 and its still fabulous. trading in for T that will be here in 60-90 days. i have a couple friends with 2010's also trouble free. the car is very sound. maybe if the car is tortured, that's another thing. but this is a wonder daily driver. don't be spooked by 2010 rumors.

That's what I was told. Now I'm told more like October but I don't want to count my chickens. So I am thinking 60-90 days. I don't want to give dealer hard time so I won't disclose until car arrives. They are working on it but I think it's hard to pin down ferrari especially in August.

I am getting close to 20K miles on my 2010. Not one single hiccup at all. And I will buy every 2010 Cali with a clean carfax for $110k that you can find.

Wow. Prices have held up a lot better than I thought. Can't imagine paying those prices, let alone higher, for a 2010 California. Lots of awesome cars and convertibles available for those prices.
