The state may spend money like drunken sailors during the good times that causes enormous deficits during the bad times, like now, but they do know how to spot an opportunity to make a buck, you've got to give them that!
I'll have to track the travels of the "F355 bill" online as I probably won't be down to Rocky Hill in the foreseeable future. We're finally past mud season and it's time to start exercising the polo ponies for the '09 season. The first few rides after six months of rest and relaxation are generally speaking - quite adventurous and often the most dangerous of the season. aaaahhhhhhh the glamorous polo lifestyle !!! - Ed -
I'll be stopping by for a few, but will be sporting the Audi as Black Horse took my car back on Monday to replace the Oil Sump Cover that was damaged (they were not able to get in back in the car in time to deliver it for this weekend)
I just got my car back from Ferrari of New England this morning - got a major done. Should be there tomorrow.
The temps are going to be in the mid 80's, the spider top is down, and the 355 is pointed toward Rocky Hill. See ya all tomorrow.
bah I'm jealous!!!! Can't complain too much, drove the 355 all over today. Maybe I can ask the pilot to swing by Rocky Hill
A great day indeed. I can't wait to get my car back tomorrow evening. A nice turnout today... about 10 cars from my count including a very rare 512M. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a few I took yesterday. The weather was mid-summer like and it was great seeing everyone again. Also great to see some new people and cars and bikes we haven't seen before. Keep 'em coming! Craig, Thanks for posting the photos !!! Looks like the TRs and 348s were out in force. Maybe UConn will have some aerial photos to post from his fly over.
This one is for the benefit of our bike riding friends this week, but it applies to the rest of us too. We like everyone that brings a special vehicle or bike to be relaxed and comfortable at our weekly gatherings. Everyone is welcome, but when you arrive at one of our gatherings, and you don't have an exotic or collectible car or motorcycle, you should find plenty of clearly marked parking spaces away from those cars and bikes that are parked together. Please don't come flying in the parking lot and park this close to any of the bikes or cars like this driver did. This one wasn't even parked between the lines, so it was really unnecessary. The driver nearly hit the bike when he opened his door to get out. That's not the way to make a good impression on the rest of us and it isn't appreciated. Image Unavailable, Please Login
