    Hey guys,

I have put my 2008 Scuderia on consignment with Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC:
    https://www.foreigncarsitalia.com/used-Greensboro-2008-Ferrari-430-Scuderia-ZFFKW64A580160482

The car is right at about 40,000 miles. I bought it in December 2014 from a guy in Arizona. Awesome car -- I'm only getting rid of it because we ended up moving to a house with a really tight garage (supposed to be 2-car, but realistically only one car fits).

The car has a brand new clutch in addition to other transmission components that Foreign Cars recently changed in order to fix an issue the car was having with popping out of gear. No problems now, mechanically the car is a 10/10.

They also refinished all of the buttons and switches, refinished the headlight covers, etc. The car is fully ready to go, beautiful inside and out!

Any questions, please reach out to Foreign Cars since they are going to know a lot more about it than I do.

    Thanks for looking!

I contacted the dealer the day it was posted. They were great on the phone. I followed up with an email and a list of questions but never heard back, that was 10 days ago.

Good luck with the sale, it's always nice to see one that's been driven which is what I intend to do once I get mine.

Huh. Looks like Corsa not Mugello to me? Any shot of the under hood sticker?

Sorry they didn't get back to you. I've always had the most luck just calling them up directly. If you check the car description on their site (under Dealer Comments), it lists the phone number for Caleb Pletcher who listed the car. I just got off the phone with him and he said he'll make sure you get a response.

Definitely not Corsa -- it's a darker red. I just spoke with Caleb and he said he confirmed that it's Mugello...

This is a former Exotics Racing LV car. As mentioned above, Las Vegas cars that saw significant miles in a short time (typically 20-30k miles in 1-2 years) are likely FlyCatcher, LLC (Exotics Racing) cars.

Here's a video review of this specific car by the ER staff.

While the cars aren't perfect, they do tend to show evidence of proper maintenance. Some cars do show mods that appear to have been made to decrease running costs (steel brake conversions, CF pieces swapped with ABS plastic, etc).

Thanks for the background details, everybody. I was not aware of its history as a rental/exotic driving experience car. When I bought it, I was just looking for a car that I could drive freely (what limited driving I could do with four kids!), and it has served its purpose for the past 8 years other than the "gear popping out" issue, and I spared no expense fixing/replacing everything related to that so I'm 100% confident that mechanically it is rock solid.

I would say the interior is an 8 or 9/10... I was very happy with the condition of the leather and I guess some people don't like the leather, but that was one of the biggest things I was looking for when I was shopping for a Scud.

The exterior is, again, probably an 8 or 9/10... Hard to say because that's a subjective opinion and some people are more critical than others. For me, I have always been thrilled with its appearance and curb appeal.

    Thanks for looking!

    What's the selling price today???
Normally required in the Original Post per our Rules ,

Looks great and mileage is mileage as long as no one spun it into a wall, IMO
    GLWS!!

I also agree leather is a plus, not a minus, easily repaired and the alcantara can start to look tatty.
So was this car originally CCF Brakes??

For street use I would have also converted to steeel discs.
    Just all of this IMO

That's a great video, they obviously loved the car also.....

As mileage is always "over years" the 40K is not excessive IMO.
There's an "As New" tool kit posted right in our Ads below this thread...:D :D

Sorry I did miss the link but went to the website, the car looks great.

    CCBs confirmed.
There was a post above speculating the Track Event company might have revised them.

    No worries.
Bumping his thread with good discussion!!!

Yes, my comment about CCB/steel replacements on former Exotics Racing cars is a general one; this car has CCBs.

Exotics Racing is heavily incentivized to keep the uptime on their cars high, and their fleet is generally well-maintained as a result.

If Foreign Cars Italia is like other Ferrari stores, cars are fully inspected and brought up to retail standards once they're accepted for consignment and before they're marketed.

Given how Scud prices have increased, this seems like a fine opportunity for someone with a reasonable budget to pick up a car that can be driven and enjoyed. (To the seller, I am one of those people and will reach out to FCI should I decide to move forward.)

    Best wishes on the sale.

Given this cars history, I can proudly say I am responsible for some of the miles on it! Car was a blast to drive back then when I was relatively new to the exotic car scene. That first experience of winding a ferocious, naturally aspirated "race car" out will live with a guy as long as his first kiss will! What a car, I wish a new house didn't take precedent over a sixth car in the garage or I'd reunite with the one that took my flower ;). Good luck with the sale!

Another member bought a high-mileage Giallo car from ER and has had good experience with it.

They maintain the cars well, nice to see them age into retirement still tight.
