Does anyone on FC know how (if it is even possible) to resent the service indicator without taking the car to the dealership...my car only has about 600 miles registered since its last major (2 year) factory recommended service was done last December by the dealer? - please advise.

You need a factory SD or Leonardo to reset the light. Some of the new systems such as Autel may do it as well.

Dave thanks for responding...any idea where to buy these devices and/or approximately how much they cost...and is one of these devices better than another? - do they provide any other important functions? - please advise. Dennis

Dennis - the factory tools are $10K plus. The Leonardo (or single model Galileo) is $5-7K. I think Autel is $3-4K. You could also try the Launch product (a few hundred) but not sure it would do it.
