I am selling my 2007 Maserati Quattroporte with 120k miles. The car is equipped with an automatic transmission. I am the third owner and the car has been very well maintained. I have all the service receipts since new. The first owner took it to Maserati dealers. I bought the car from my friend who was the second owner. He took it to independent shops for service. The first two owners lived in California. After I purchased it I had it shipped to Maryland. I have done most of the service and repairs myself and I have had some done by respected independent shops. I have owned it for about two and half years and 20k miles.

The car has had the expensive cam variator repair, which was done by Tillack's in California at a cost exceeding $7000. I will post the service receipt soon. The car does not have any check engine lights. I have cleaned some of the sticky buttons, but there are many more that are still sticky.

Mechanically, the car is due for an oil change. The trunk lock is temperamental. It works, but sometime not enough to completely unlock the trunk. The assembly may need to be replaced. Recently, I have occasionally gotten a flashing battery light on acceleration. The car has always started, but it is possible the alternator is weak or failing.

It is a heavy car and I suspect that some of the suspension bushing could be replaced. It did pass the Maryland state inspection when I bought it, but that was about 20k miles ago.

I have a set of 4 base model front rims with winter tires. If you want the extra set of wheels, the price for the car and the extra set of wheels is $8000 or $7500 for the car without the extra set. I have all the books and both keys.

Please ask any questions. The prices are firm. It is a true automatic or slushbox (made my ZF I believe), not an F1 paddle shift car. The automatic on these cars is more desirable and much more reliable than the F1.

Does it have the skyhook or a conventional suspension?
Please PM or email me at g 50 Carrera at hot mail dot com.
Would it survive a 1000 mile trip in it’s current state?

$8500/yr in depreciation alone. Oof. Adjusted for inflation, some 12K/yr in depreciation. It's a bargain, gents.

I live on the left side of the country so it's hard to drop by and get a hands on feel for the car. With fresh oil and an inspection do you think it would make that drive without an "It's dead Jim" moment? My best,

I have no doubt the car would make the trip with the exception of the alternator. I think the alternator is on its way out. It might last another 10,000 miles or another 500. I shipped the car out from California on an open carrier and it was less than $1000. I would think that would be the safer option. Thanks for your interest.

Also, I already purchased a new Maserati oil filter for the car. I will include it with the car.

I would buy this if I had a place to keep it and the wife wouldn’t kill me. As it stands I can’t exactly justify to her replacing my LS400 daily with this. This is a fantastic deal.
