dino gts $180k + 10% = $198k WHOA! I knew Dino's were up but this is really high isn't it? Is there something about the car I am not aware of?
I know...! It hurts just looking at it. I don't want to offend anyone I know who works for the auction house, but I saw several things that made me wonder how much experience the guys handling the cars had.
The GTC is 10377, Daytona is 13729 (though the auction catalogue has it listed incorrectly as "13972"), Boano is 0543, Lusso is 4715 and the Dino is 03920. Oh yeah, and the 308 is listed in the catalogue as F106AB30317.
found out the buyer of the dino and the boano: http://www.championmotorgroup.com/ou/longisland-lamborghini/console.do?page=f_used_musclecars
Here are the results. I don't see the 330 GTC. http://wwgauctions.com/pdfs/Houston2007Results-Alphabetical.pdf
I knew that Biano well. It was here in Toronto. Sad to see it go. I went down to Michigan as part of it's entourage at the 2003 Meadowbrook concourse d'elegance What a beautiful car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Lusso was drop dead perfect. It did not sell, The red 250 sold to Lobeck, in Tulsa, OK. The Daytona spider conversion brought all the money and the seller lucked out. I belive the silver 308 was there last year. it had issues. I sold two cars there and have always been happy with my outcomes with Rod and John. As far as the 400 Muria, it is owned by a local Texas fella and was a no sale at 280 real money. The car had a resent respay and had sanificnt overspray on the black window molding. rare s car. It will bring another 100k next year when the new Muria shows up in the showrooms. The but was the Bora that slipped under the radar. Look for it in St Louis at Mark Hymann's.
It went bang Someone experienced a karmic kinetic realignment with the car while preparing for last year's concorso
