I want to lower my car obout 20mms and I need the OEM alignment specs, where can I get them??? Also how many turns did you lowered your car? Thanks
what are you trying to gain from this ? a-performance handling ? b-lower aggressive look ? c- ? is your car a daily driver ?
a and b I don't want to loose perf for look, that is why I only want to go to Euro specs and then realign...
just remember even on the stock US Spec settings F430's can bottom out, once you get comfortiable with the car you will note with certan corner's your car will bottom out but if your ok with this, then its all good. for the suspension when you lower the car make sure you shop around as to who ever will be doing the alignment and if you can try to drive some ones car that has the Euro spec settings and see if you like it. but recomendations I would look into and this would be a 1st time try for this settings 0.5inch drop *** or a hight you would like***8 1.5 negative camber front 1mm of toe in for the front 1.8 negative camber rear toe rear settings vary by each person so find a setting that works for you and you feel comfortable with it. add additional weigh to the car for the alignement with a-full tank of gas b-sand bag the weight of the car with the = weight of the driver and passenger its not a one stop trip with alignments, its always a constant progressive type of tuning that takes some time. good luck with the alignment post pic's when you get it lowerd.
Thanks for the info,I want to have the same settings I have now but with the car lowered since I can find this info I will check the numbers in the alignment shop before3 lowering this way I can use them after I lower the car... I will corner weight the car so i also need to know the weith % front and rear...anyone knows?
when your going to corner weight the car make sure you have add additional weigh to the car for the alignement with a-full tank of gas b-sand bag the weight of the car with the = weight of the driver and passenger weight. while I was at BMW R&D all of the cars that were shipped over from Germany for death valley hot weather testing were fully loaded with water tanks to simulate the weight of a human body, also I found the cars were also set to alignment specs with the extra weight of a fully loaded car, I think it might be worth a try with this for your F430 with the loaded weight, its common sence when you think of it, your going to be driving your car + also have a passenger in the car so you should = the weight in the car to 200-250 per seat + the weight of a full tank of gas as well. then you will have a nice suspension setting for the car either way.
100% with you when I corner balance my cars I always use 1/2 tank. And also use water bottles to simulate passenger and pilot weight.
