Red/Black F1 with daytona's and power seats, 10k miles, no records, but a nice original car. What's it worth on the conservative side? Are they hard to resell? Any info is apppreciated! Alex

I thought you were a dealer; shouldn't you know?

Red will be a little harder to resell than the usual Black, Silver, Titanium etc...

Never had a 612, but i do have the opportunity to buy the one i described. I have no idea the demand or the market on these cars. Off the top of my head i was thinking it might be worth around 165ish on the wholesale side, but i could be way off.

The 2005's are moving at $185K transaction price it seems. Wholesale and asking price are maybe 10% (or less) down and up respectively, depending.

I think the 2006's would be another $25K. However, red is a tough color for the 612 as stated. Maybe $15K less than black, titanium, silverstone.

I think the transaction price is probably $195K if you want a guess.

The big 2+2s don't seem to look right in bright red the way that the mid-engined V-8s do. Kind of like how some outfits will work on Jessica Alba, but not Nicole Kidman. There's a current thread on this in the 456/550/575 discussion group (without the feminine references for which I apologize. But when you're talking beauty....). The general consensus is that, while rosso fiorano works, 456s in Rosso Corsa look weird. The same probably applies to the 612.

Many Ferraris are worth less in red than other colors-- basically any 2+2, all the way back to the 250GTE. Most of the 2+2s in Ferrari history came new from the factory in colors other than red, as well.
