Hello everyone, I'm planning on exploring the US national parks next spring and I want to start building an "overlanding" truck for the trip. I've decided on the 100 series Toyota Land Cruiser and am looking for a 2006 or 2007 to build out. I would prefer a southern truck to minimize the amount of frame rust but I'm open to checking out any trucks that are available. I'm also interested in Overlanding. I used to do long distance self sustained adventures on dual sport motorcycles. One I hope to redo (with 4WD) is the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Did it 15 years ago on a KTM 950 in 13 days. That was too short. Planning on 3 weeks starting in July 2021. Just starting to get schooled. expeditionportal.com has been useful.
