    Since its inception as the official F1 Safety Car, the Mercedes CLK DTM has joined the most discerning collections in the world. Essentially a race car for the street, it is widely respected and coveted by many supercar enthusiasts and collectors.

    We recently purchased this one-owner 2005 Mercedes CLK DTM. 1 of 100 were made for the world and less than 6/7 were imported into the USA. Stunning Silver over Black example with only 2,900 miles and completely serviced and well documented.

    The last two cars that sold were respectively $405,000 and $450,000, both sold at the Monterey Gooding & Co. Auctions in 2015/2016.

    This may be the nicest example available in the country. It has not hit our website or been previously adverted anywhere but FerrariChat for now!

    Hmmm... Just realized that... Would be pretty cool! I read the plaque as ONE out of 100... but considering who the original owner was... very good chance it good be #1.

    MB did not number these cars, each plaque says the same thing. So John is correct, this car is one built out of 100 total.

    My memory is fuzzy on this, but weren't these actually so special that AMG farmed out production of these to H.W.A., the racing company founded by the 'A' partner of AMG? And I also recall two F1 drivers owning examples.

    Very cool cars. I saw the one at going this year at pebble and it was in ok condition but black. Silver is the color for these cars it really shows off the body. I have a clk 63 black series and is one of my favorites around town. I can imagine more tq would be fun....

    Not that I am in the market (although I'd love to have this in the garage), but I am very curious as to the logistics of getting this vehicle registered for the road in the USA or Canada, if possible. Has it been done/is it easily done?

    Best of luck with the sale - she's a monster!

    User yellowenzo123 (RIP) had one and had great things to say about the car. He had it registered in the USA and seemed to drive it a lot. Amazing car, GLWS.

    As for Canada a CLK Black series is not importable, but says all other CLKs are admissible. So technically you could import it.
    Which sucks, I wanted that CLK black on BAT, and sadly this way out my price range :(
