"The King" of SUVs, this one from the last year of production (2005). Haul 7 humans and all of your toys around in dominating style. Use it to take your race car to the track or perhaps move a barn.

Eddie Bauer edition with all of the goodies (DVD, 2nd row Captain's chairs, 2 tone leather, etc).
    6.0 Liter V8 Turbo Diesel
    4X4
132,973 miles (barely broken in for a diesel)

Unmolested: *no* aftermarket parts or modifications.

New brakes and tires on all 4 corners in past 6 months (< 4,000 miles).

Coolant changed by Ford dealer in July, 2014 (100,000 mile service item).

Fuel filters and air filter changed in March, 2015.

Fresh oil change and filter in July, 2015.

    Additional service history available.

Books, 2 keys, 2 alarm fobs. Title in hand.

    Full disclosure:
    - rock chip in windshield (behind rear view mirror, you never notice it when you drive)
    - ding / dent above rear taillight on driver's side
    - very slow oil leak from bed plate gasket. Requires removal of entire engine to fix...just not worth it. My understanding is that they all do this to some degree.
    - overhead display not working (compass and MPG)

Located in San Diego county. CA registration valid through January of 2016.

    VIN: 1FMSU45PX5EA49481

    Asking price is $24,588.

Confused. For sale for $24,588 but not worth it to fix the oil leak.

She looks really clean and tidy as most of your cars you sell. That part of the add just does not make sense. You may want to re word it.

Not sure what is so confusing. Why spend 25% of the value of the car to fix a leak that is really just a nuisance and nothing more? Even the Ford dealer and an independent mechanic both recommended *not* doing the repair. "Keep an eye on oil level and just live with it" was the advice I was given. FWIW, I've never had to add any oil.

So are you ready to take it for a test drive, Robbie? :^)

Hi Scott - To be honest, I don't know the answer to your question. It certainly hasn't had that done under my ownership however.

FWIW, I had a diesel specialist go through the entire truck 3-4 months ago and tell me everything it needed to make it bulletproof - I did everything he recommended (which wasn't a whole lot really).

Awesome vehicles. As for the oil leak, keep a quart with you in the back of the vehicle. Depending on how often you change the oil you might not even need to add any in between :)

I have a 2005...V 10...I've had Excursions since 2001...Never had one go in shop...they don't break, but I've only had the V 10 gas engines....Mine got stolen, so I replaced it with a 2005 with only 20K miles...It was like getting a new Excursion!!...I LOVE that car...I put a small Ferrari badge under the "Excursion" on side of car :D...I pull the 430 in its trailer with no problem.

I have a 2005 limited V-10 with 96,000 miles - have never added oil between changes - my son in law replaced the carpet with factory (even took out the console) and redid the front seats - stitching and everything matches (this is what he does) - it looks brand new - I'll never get rid of it even though I have 3 SUVs

Had to read all the comments to find it sold............. I've had a couple. First two the 7.3 LTD's and then a 04 6.0 Eddie. I like them for towing boats, range and room for 3 Rottweiler's. On the last one only did the egr delete and it never broke down. Looking for another one. Hard to find with low miles.
