    A Tale of Two Ferraris

Offered for sale is a 2005 Ferrari F430, with 8,862 miles. The interior, plus all of the glass (except the engine lid glass, which is still intact), has been removed. Prior to the interior removal, the car ran perfectly, with no CELs or other warning indicators on the dash. The car though, had been involved in a minor front-end collision. I drove the car several miles without issue. In fact, I believe the final odometer reading was probably 8,864, but I only have the picture showing 8,862. The car has a Michigan salvage title.

Included with this car, is the nearly complete interior from a 2006 Ferrari F430 that had gone through a small fire originating in the passenger footwell/battery area.

    FULL BACKGROUND STORY

I bought two Ferrari F430s at insurance auctions, to enable fixing one up using parts from the other, to create a complete car. This was accomplished, so I am now selling the “leftovers.”

Car #1 - 2005 Ferrari F430. Charcoal gray. Collision damage. Salvage title. Purchased December 2018. Mileage: 8,862 miles. VIN: ZFFEW58A250144141. This is the car that is for sale.

Car #2 - 2006 Ferrari F430. Charcoal gray. Interior fire damage. Salvage title. Purchased October 2019. Mileage: 13,578 miles. VIN: ZFFEW58A860144940. The interior parts from this car are included.

To create a complete car from these two vehicles, we pulled the interior from both cars, then reinstalled the interior from Car #1 into Car #2. Car #2 is now fully restored and running beautifully and I am now selling Car #1 plus the interior from Car #2.

For sale here is Car #1, along with all of the salvageable interior parts from Car #2. Before the interior was removed from this car, it ran perfectly. I drove it down the road several times. No errors on the dash of any kind. Other than the front end being damaged, the car seemed fine and drove straight. The final picture included on the website of the dash, is of this car before we removed the interior, showing the mileage of 8,862 miles. By the time we pulled the interior, I think I drove it around a bit more, so the actual mileage I seem to recall was probably 8,864 miles. There are a couple more dash pictures included in the attached file from prior to my purchasing the car.

In checking the leather parts from the fire-damaged car, which are being included here, I can detect no trace of smoke smell.

The driver’s side seat latching mechanism does not seem to work, as I was not able to pull the seat back into the upright, locked position. Also, I do not have the key which went with Car #2. The body shop “lost” it.

Included in the attached file are some pictures of each of the cars showing the condition they were in when purchased, BEFORE this project began. This is NOT the condition of the cars now.

In summary, I am now selling Car #1, with no interior, along with the interior that was pulled from Car #2 as a complete package. It is everything you see in the pictures posted here: http://www.paulandtia.com/Album5/

    Asking price for all: $55,000.

Buyer pays packing and shipping. This is a package deal. I will NOT sell individual parts.
