    2002 Ferrari 575M
    VIN: ZFFBV55A220126969
    Grigio Titano over Bordeaux interior
First US 575M imported to US
    42k miles
    Asking Price: $109,000

This is a very unique driver 575M. It is the first 575M imported to the US by Ferrari. The Grigio Titano paint changes hue in different light - some pictures are in different locations to show the color change. It is a Ferrari you can not be concerned about mileage, just drive and enjoy it. Incredibly comfortable with grip from the wide wheels/tires and body control from the MSC coilovers. A jekyll and hyde character with the exhaust, can be quiet cruiser or have the V12 high pitch scream. The A/C will keep you comfortable in any temp. A no-expense spared built and maintained car.

The modifications to the 575M were done to make it what is expected from a performance Ferrari, the suspension no longer wafts with throttle or brake input and is flat in corners, yet is comfortable for daily driving or long road trips. The bespoke exhaust is an equal-length design with an x-pipe and oversized diameter titanium tubing with valves to create more power and a smooth sound - high pitch under full throttle when you want to hear it and otherwise quiet with zero drone. Custom HRE wheels with wider tires give the 575M better lateral grip at the front and traction at the rear while accentuating the 575M lines. Overall, the modifications removed over 150lbs from the 575M. This is the 575M everyone wishes Ferrari made, it truly puts the modificata in M.

    Factory Options:
    Fender Shields
    Daytona Seats
    HID headlights
    F1 transmission

    Maintenance:
2019: clutch - currently with 70% life remaining
    2020: major service with timing belt; spark plugs; all fluids & filters; engine & trans mounts; fuel pump seals; sticky button service on entire interior (buttons, steering console, parcel shelf sliders, etc.); exhaust temp ecu replaced; new battery; adjusted door windows;
2021: coolant lines under intake manifold replaced; coolant; power steering hose replaced; oil change; tires

    Modification:
MSC coilovers with custom spring rates (comfortable, reduced body roll and lowered ride height) - corner balanced; KW suspension error code delete; HRE 305M wheels (18x10.5 & 18x11); 25mm rear wheel spacers; Toyo R888r tires (295/30r18 front & 315/30r18 rear); titanium lug bolts; Hawk HPS brake pads; Reid stainless steel equal length downpipes and x-pipe; & 2.5" titanium valved exhaust; BMC air filters; window tint; led marker lights.

    Notes:
Leather on the dash and rear parcel area is in good condition and not peeling.
    All books & tools included
3 keys & replica Enzo key
    Stock suspension included

There is no upcoming scheduled maintenance or known faults. All common and major repairs/maintenance to the 575M have been addressed.

The suspension was modified so the 575M feels and responds like a modern Ferrari - the 575M now responds to your steering input vs. handling like an 80's Buick (the standard 575M suspension was a serious issue and received negative reviews when new). The suspension was specified for comfort - MSC coilovers with custom rate Swift springs and adjustable dampers, so the 575M is still incredibly comfortable (it can be easily adjusted for a more firm or soft ride). The ride height is adjustable - the 575M can be raised or lowered from its current ride height. The 575M was corner balanced and given an alignment designed to reduce the twitchy tendencies of the 575M so it builds confidence in the corners and braking. The HRE wheels were widened to 10.5" in the front to give better front end grip and the rears were widened to 11" (from 10.5") to give more traction but keep weight down and allow for a variety of tire sizes. The stance with the coilovers and custom wheels accents the 575M's aggressive styling.

The stock was exhaust was silent at full throttle - completely unacceptable for a performance V12 model Ferrari. So the bespoke valved titanium exhaust (larger diameter 2.5" vs. stock 2.0-2.25") was fabricated and resulted in over 50hp gain. The 575M is quiet under normal driving conditions and sings when the valves open under hard acceleration. The equal length downpipes merging into an oversized x-pipe ensure there is no drone and create a smooth tone and high pitch which creates better throttle response with an increase in low rpm power while not reducing top end power like most x-pipes.

Beyond being meticulously maintained with an open checkbook and properly modified. The 575M is the best looking Ferrari over the past 20 years, incredibly comfortable, its speed is relevant to new cars, makes a wonderful noise and is incredibly special being the first 575M delivered to the US. This 575M is fantastic for attacking canyons, daily driving or cross-country drives. It has seen 700+ mile daily trips with zero hiccups and is truly at home conquering continents. Literally wonderful to drive in any given situation.

This car has been maintained to the highest level and enjoyed by all of its owners, not passed around when maintenance was due like many Ferraris. There are plenty of 575M's on the market . . . many are in desperate need of major service and repair.

The complete build thread is documented here (lots of pictures): https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/575m-build.621233/

The 575M is located in San Diego. I will assist with transportation at the buyer’s expense, but would not hesitate to drive this car across the country (just took it on a 700 mile drive this past week - this car was definitely designed to cross continents quickly).

Did you know you are missing the timing belt covers, that could be a serious hazard. Not complaining just trying to help.

Covers are on the car (in other pictures). Picture of the belt was taken during the service.

I think that picture without the covers was taken during some service. The covers are there in the picture further up...

beautiful... same colour combination (inside and out) as my 360 Modena which had some of the same mods (exhaust & suspension). Just wish I could buy it and bring it over to Oz - but can't drive LHD here unless its 25 years old... Oh well.

    To make the listing clear.

    Parts included with the car:
    stock spring/strut assemblies

    Available for additional cost:
    Stock Wheels
    Headers

Last week this car saw a 700+ mile trip in a single day. That trip was an average cruise speed of 85+ mph; hit 160+ ; 350+ miles per tank; rain; 35 degree temp variance and the car was flawless. Multiple conference calls held on the trip. At one point was on a dirt road with wooden bridge. Left at 5am - did work - got home at 10pm. Was not sore after the drive. Not many cars can pull all of the above off. This thing can CRUSH continents.

There was a time when I would’ve been required to comment on the VIN. :D

Not any more though, I’m a grown up now.

Lately I’ve been thinking about all the right mods already done to this 575. I can’t have 2 Maranellos but this one has so many great mods.
