    2000 Hummer h-1... i searched and searched, found the best truck i could, then sent it too Source Motors in OC who specialized in this type of conversion... Truck was completed in 2017, and since then has never seen rain, or Dirt!! (i know.... what a shame) I love it as a Mall Crawler!!

    Great looking truck

    6.5TD is fairly easy to get a significant amount of power from, in the ballpark of dropping 0-60 by over 7 seconds. A majority of the gains are from simply swapping restrictive or heavy components - this truck already ditched the heavy factory wheels with runflats and dropped 46lbs, per corner, of rotating mass.

    No issue at all.... set cruise control to 65 and no problems!! AC blasting and music playing!! look over to my right and wife is over there in a different zip code!!

    my Ford Raptor is 0.1" wider than the H1. Unbelievable how the interior makes it feel so different!

    who did the engine work? More details about mechanical upgrades?
    What would you fix/change/upgrade on the truck if you were to keep it?

    No engine work done to it by me at all or mechanical upgrades, completely stock (passes calif smog, no check engine lights).... place i bought it from said it had the Optimizer GEP motor replaced by previous owner under warranty. I believe these had an issue with the #8 cylinder, and a bunch had gotten replaced under warranty... They sent me photos of the engine block with the GEP/international logo on it showing replacement.. Also Had truck inspected before i bought it.

    Upgrade or fix if i were to keep???? really nothing. Some say Duramax motor, but honestly ive had ZERO issues with the motor in it..Of course i use it only as a weekend mall crawler! Power i could careless about.. Pretty much had it built exactly how i wanted it!! The locking hubs came with truck when i bought it, never used them once!! never been in dirt or even rain! Will tell ya, at cars and coffee it gets more attention than my Scud or Stradale! CRAZY!

    Ya but the difference is the h1 puts the driver and passenger at the outside edge of the tire. Where as the raptor you sit 4 inches inside the door shut line and the flares are 3-4 inches. Which accounts for a near foot and a half distance.

    Da'mmmn...I thought my build was nice....love that interior..Congrats...diesel at 5.50 a gallon was over $200.00 a fill up..
    the reflections in the flat glass at night was the deal breaker for me...I sold it!
    When I pulled into town the cameras came out, GREAT fun off road...the beach was a dream drive..I was Invincible!
