Good morning all, and happy holidays! I'm about to buy my 1st Ferrari and am quite excited. I look forward to meeting other Ferrari owners in Colorado. I'm picking up a 2004 360 in Rosso Barchetta, 3 pedal.

Thanks guys! I am a member of the local FCA. My first event with FCA was the movie Rush, and then I met some of the other chapters in Austin at F1 race. Hotzos, sounds great! The car is in SF now and should be hear before the end of Jan.

    Guys,

Another new guy in the area. F-car is down in Phoenix for the winter. Hope to have back in March time frame to do some drives in those beautiful mountains. I really enjoy skiing, but can't wait for the summer to explore.

Haven't really put together a complete calendar yet, but I usually post over 400 car events in Colorado at www.coloradocarevents.com. You can also sign up for the email list to be notified of the best events 1-2 times a month.

Welcome and congrats! You will find Colorado a great place to own and enjoy a Ferrari despite the winter weather.

Weather permitting I spend a lot of time in the Parker/Castle Rock/Pines area so if you see a Giallo 355 GTS or Blanco Testarossa on/around Main street in Parker or down at the Taste Of Mexico restaurant in Caste Pines or sister restaurant Blue Nectar in Castle Rock stop and say hi. Would be good to meet you.

    Cheers!

Yes but it's supposed to be February 23, I believe. Right now I think it's announced as February 14 but that would be wrong. I planned it last year but haven't been roped into it this year so I'm not completely in the loop on it, therefore, leave some room that I might be wrong. Although I doubt it.

Yes, the FCA national newsletter has it as the 14th, which is wrong.

Just confirmed with an FCA officer. Enzo's bday will be celebrated on 2/23. Featured speaker Denise McCluggage who's racing achievements included winning the grand touring category at Sebring in a Ferrari 250 GT in 1961. Time/location to follow.

Welcome RoadKing. The local FCA chapter is good. We are trying to make it better by increasing the number of drives (I know, crazy concept). In all seriousness, there are a lot of great roads around here, there are a lot of options, it's just a matter of planning and coordination.

Perhaps we'll do another drive up to Mt. Evans (14,000 feet) or maybe a drive down 285 to Breckenridge or Buena Vista or something like that. 285 is a great mountain road.

Anyway, welcome and be patient. Spring and Summer will be here before you know it. :)

I just rejoined FCA (last active in 2007-2008). Looking forward to some drives with the club. I'd be up for a 285 run to Breck or Bueny. Both destinations have some good lunch spots. Hopefully see some of you folks at the Enzo party.

So, FCA can't OFFICIALLY coordinate this, but, a friend of mine is the marketing manager at Twin Peaks in DTC. It might be fun to have a whole bunch of Ferraris at Twin Peaks for a weekend game (baseball, basketball, hockey, whatever..). She's indicated we'd have roped off parking up front, reserved "Man Cave" or during season, reserved patio space right next to the cars. This could be a meeting place after going down the back roads from Castle Rock to Palmer Park, and back up north. Thoughts?
