Gorgeous car in this color combo, but damn these prices in the states are insanely HIGH!! (in eu mainland for half the price you have already plenty of choice, price differences between the 2 continents keep surprising me)
Please PM me with any 550 in the EU at 50% less than the states - that is one that is not the normal dull color of Grigio and has less than 70k kilometers! I agree there is some arbitrage between the continents (I imported several cars last year), but the margins are no where near what you quote! In my experience, by the time I am done paying import costs AND doing extensive servicing of the cars, 10 to 15% margins are more accurate ---- if you know what you are doing and don't make a mistake!!!!
My old car. Nice to see it’s been taken care of and driven quite a bit. Still absolutely love the color combination…
A similar car just sold on BaT yesterday for $197,550 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-ferrari-550-maranello-32/#comment-11760259
550's look SO nice without shields....this color combo.... i am NOT a blue guy but this is STUNNING....
The 550 that sold on BAT was silver and had only 19k miles. This one has double the mileage at 40k but it is also blue (I personally like the blue color better). For whatever reason, BAT sold prices for 550’s are all over the place. A red 550 with 35k miles sold for $136,000. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-ferrari-550-maranello-25/ Regardless, this blue/red combo 550 is a beautiful car!!!!!
