Assuming like condition, most would opt for the Countach at an equal price, and I say that as a long time happy Diablo owner.
While I respect any owner’s right to do what they want, any time I’ve been on a long distance drive in my Diablo it is so obvious what the height of ownership thrill is (to me). What is the point - to own a sculpture or a sports car? Lambos with low miles are sad, period. Drive one across the country at least once. Trust me.
Sorry, but come on no one buying a 700k plus car even remotely cares about gas prices. I own a car no where near that price and I could care less.
The Diablo is one of the hottest cars on the market... The fact this car has been on the market for 6+ months tells us that it's not "demanding such a higher price"
Because they don’t run worth a damn, are horribly problematic, parts aren’t available and there’s only a couple guys who are really good at working on them.
I own 3 Diablo's and I have not had any horrible problems and my cars run great. They are very good cars and I love the looks. I also now own 4 ferraris and I spend more money maintaining them than the diablos. Just fixing all the sticky **** on F cars is a lot. All my F cars have had that problem. I like the F cars but I also like the Lambo's. The other thing is that the diablo SV is so much more rare than a production F car of the era. I am guessing that my 99 diablo SV is one of less than 75 cars. You don't drive around or go to an event and see another one.
100% agree. my 98 sv never complains, always starts, and is very low maintenance compared to the ferraris.
Can only speculate this is sarcastic based on this entry on the guy's profile: Other Cars Owned: Diablo SE30 Jota All the owners know what a gem a Diablo is, especially in the special variants ('99 Roadster for me). Yes, they require a bit of maintenance....which the appreciation has paid for MANY times over....but get that top off on an 80 degree day and you have punched a ticket to motoring nirvana.
About that, as Lamborghini only built 265 cars in 1999. Plus you have a 1 year only design (similar to my Roadster).
