1986 Porsche 962 IMSA air to air. Miami grand Prix winner. 962-009. We're not sure yet if we're going to sell it.
They made well over 300 SVs not 20. There are only 20 Monterey editon diablo which this car is not. Monterey editon has louverd/with fins side skirts like the roadster and some other differences but thats how you know right of the bat.
According to Lamborghini, there were a total of 150 Diablo SV's made and only 20 in 1998 (as my ad states). The rest were all made in 1999. That includes 20 Monterrey editions and only 6 SV Roadsters.
Agree with Red Hammer, the Monterrey editions (20) were 1998 cars without all the 1999 upgrades. The 1999 cars were their own design. This is according to the official production statistics from Lamborghini/Audi. As you state, there were also non-Monterreys like yours, and SV Roadsters as you state. So there are certainly more than 20 1998 SVs.... But look, any Diablo in the late 90s is a rare car. The factory produced 231 TOTAL WORLDWIDE cars in 1998. They remain undervalued, they are a rock star at any event. My 1999 Roadster gets unbelievable attention, be prepared for it. Someone snatch this car up and see for yourself.
There were far more than 20 1998's. The statement above is self-contradicting - if there were 20 Monterrey editions for 1998 and the one offered is a 1998 that's not a Monterrey edition than there's at minimum 21. The true figure is between 100-150 worldwide. You can find more than 20 in the LP112 registry alone. https://www.lp112.com/Lamborghini/Search.asp Nonetheless fantastic car and I hope you get all the money (I am supremely biased of course).
I love the Diablo SV. Many people are starting to realize these cars may have been the 'entry level' Diablo once, but offer a sporty and simple touch that makes them very appealing. Now the market has gone completely dry across both sides of the Atlantic, as with other special Diablo versions. The character of these cars changed slightly throughout the years: early cars generally displayed a raw interior in Alcantara, with no airbag. Diablo SVRs were based on these cars and share the same interior. MY98 were finished in a more luxurious leather and had an airbag, but still with the pop-up headlights exterior. Finally, MY99 is the only SV built on the re-styled platform with the fixed headlights (and a more powerful engine). You can chose your version (if you are lucky!).
Price is in the very first post. It was previously sold by curated and now for sale by Atlantis motor group. Was last sold with 17k miles and now has 10k???
Why is that? A local guy just bought and sold a yellow one after 2 months of ownership as he swapped it for a GT. Not my cup of tea but 90 percent of these cars coming for sale has nothing to do with the car and everything to do with owners wanting to change
17k km... Current seller is stating the distance covered in miles. Nothing funny or fishy going on. Diablo odometers read in km
May not be but the miles were reported at 17,644 KM on 5/27/2017. The photo from curated shows those same miles. Now the photo from Atlantis shows the same miles in 2023 although it was reported at 17,670 I’m 2019. Maybe Atlantis is using an old photo?? If it hasn’t been driven since 2019 the 17,670 KM = 10,979 miles. The Atlantis ad has 10,700. Not a huge difference but at this price a nice accurate photo of the mileage maybe helpful to a potential buyer (or maybe they don’t care). Either way, awesome car and Atlantis is definitely a trustworthy dealership!
10700 miles is a round number and shoppers of these cars typically know that the odo is on km. Seems pretty transparent. The car hasn't moved much since the pricing gas gone stratospheric.
