    Hello everyone,
Thought I would share how I removed the US spec rear bumpette from my 1991 Testarossa.

This car was delivered in Tokyo but had the US spec bumerette on it which I think detracts from the overall look of the rear of this glorious machine. What I found after I took the rear bumper off is that this is a euro spec bumper that the factory just drilled 4 holes in and installed a US spec bumperette right into a fully painted new bumper. The bumperette has 4 long bolts embedded into it with go through the rear bumper. It also had a thin bead of Sikaflex on the top edge which just released from the paint when I unbolted and pushed the bumperette out. Then I filled the holes front to back, solid all the way through, with 3M panel bond as it does not shrink. From there I proceeded to do the bodywork, repaint and reinstallation. Finished product is much better looking!
