Here's another example of my work. This client moved into the exotic storage facility, where my business is located. At the time he had no proper knowledge of what a paint correction was, let alone ceramic coatings. After being introduced to him and discussing what I do and what I could do for his collection, I started working on his vehicles. By now I have done 15 or so of his cars, and there are three more waiting in line. This car was in serious need of a paint correction, as it looked heavily swirled and other paint defects. After a multi-stage paint correction, I brought the paint back as close as possible to what it should look like. After which I ceramic coated the entire exterior.
Very nice What products did you use to cut) polish .. I had asked this question in another post i created .. just curious considering the single stage paint I am thinking to use meguairs 205 with lake country white Thoughts / experience on how you did it TIA Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
To be quite honest, I don't remember. And I'm not being evasive in my answer, it just has been quite a few months ago since I've done this car. And I have a pretty good arsenal of products in my shop with which I work on different kinds of paint with. I wish I remembered exactly what I used on this particular car.
That's ok ..what would you start a test spot with if it came to you today ? Any first thoughts Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
As usual, I'd start with a very mild combo. A medium pad with a medium polish. Let's say, depending on the manufacturer, an orange pad with jescar medium polish. And go from there.
