    I have a 1985 308 QV with a Black exterior. We are doing some paint corrections and I have a question. The Front Hood Panel is painted Gloss Black on the outer surface. The underside of the Hood seems to be painted with a Black paint that is almost Flat Black and has a texture to it. Is that correct? Or is it something done by the previous owner? I would be interested to know what was done by the factory. Thank you all!

    Yes, no matter what exterior color on the car, the QV front and rear hoods have a black texture paint on the underside from the factory.

    Are the black louvres and black trim supposed to be gloss or flat ?

    They are supposed to be more like Satin black.
