Hello everyone. Car is a Euro Model. All gauges are metric. 4 owner car. Crepaldi dealer sticker still on window. All original factory stickers still on glass including tire pressure sticker on front windshield. I have the original wheels but put on aftermarket 16" wheels. The original wheels are undersized and not staggered. Just recently had 9k service to fix all oil leaks and belts. 13K in service the last 12-16 months. All new hoses, plugs, wires, fluids, gaskets, belts, etc. The car is mechanically sound. You can drive anywhere. I feel stupid for saying the following as most of you already know these facts. It is 1 of 748 GTB QVs. How many of those were Euro models with the lightweight bumpers and deep spoiler and fog lights in the grill, who knows, but safe to say less than half, so maybe 300? Please contact me if you have any questions or want to see any particular pictures. Car is located in Long Beach, CA. 95k OBO Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It’s the perfect spec and it is drop dead gorgeous. If I hadn’t bought my 328 this year I would be all over this. Is it registered in CA? Federalized with all smog equipment present? Phenomenal car, good luck.
Yikes, I should of said that in the description. It has zero smog devices. It is registered to my Montana company.
I drive this GTB to Goodvibes here in LA on Friday mornings sometimes. Those of you who don't know look it up. It cuts up the mountain with ease. I trust it anywhere. I had the car gone through thoroughly. It was parked at one time for more than 15 years with little to almost no miles. That was bad for the car as I had hoses popping and weird sounds coming from everywhere. The axels have been changed as well as a differential treatment 2x. The radiator was serviced or a new one. I cant find the receipt but can ask my mechanic. Brand new tires less than 1500 miles on them.
Rafael, I’m in Cerritos and we have our local SoCal 308 group 30 plus members, if you like to join us PM me. Thanks
The Euro spec of the 308 added the very subtle hits that really set the car off! If I had garage room right now this thing would be mine! For the seller you should post up at least one interior shots for everyone. GLWTS, this thing looks mint! Fair price.
Books? Pouch for books? Warranty book with first owner and dealer listed? Tool roll? Tools? spare tire? DOT/EPA paperwork? service records? Accidents?
also... Any paintwork? What are the after market wheels? They look like USA QV wheels? Photos / specs of original (metric I assume) wheels? VIN? Clean Car Fax?

I have the complete tool roll, spare tire original, tools all there, jack bag, and pouch for books. I am missing some of the books though. I only have 1. Missing the owners manual but do have the leather pouch for books. I'll post pics this weekend
I'm not posting VIN, I have the original TRX wheels and currently have on aftermarket wheels that are bigger. The original wheels are in storage so It would be a few days before I get pics. Yes, it has been repainted. It was painted 20 years ago or so. I have painted the spoiler twice and apparently was once silver.
Is the below information correct? Nice car, did your say the original color is silver? My first Ferrari was a 79 GTB. I think I want a early glass, steel dry sump or late QB. Are the Euro QVs dry sump? We are pleased to offer 1983 Euro model model 308 GTB QV s/n xxxxx, a fully serviced, very well documented, lightweight Euro model 308 GTB QV. With only 748 total US model and Euro model 308 GTB QVs built in 1983-84-85, as a last-generation 308, as a GTB and as a QV, s/n 46501 represents the best, the most user-friendly, wallet friendly and the most collectable of the Ferrari 308 GTBs. S/n 46501 was sold new in 1983 by Crepaldi, the Authorized Ferrari dealer for Milano, (their sticker is still in rear window), moved to Montreal, Canada in 1990 and then to the US in 2016. All major mechanical components have been serviced through its life and so the engine, transaxle, brakes and suspension work as new. This is a wonderful driving 308 GTB QV, the syncros work smoothly, the clutch is light to use, grips quickly and the car can be thrown into corners with total ease and confidence. Performance is excellent thanks to the smooth power curve of the last evolution of the 308 GTB engine. The body is exceptionally straight and dent free although there is a slight crease in the hood caused by someone trying to close the hood. 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 was Metallic Silver (Argento FER 101/C) when new and then repainted in Ferrari red Rosso Corsa in 2002 by Lancia Garage in Montreal. The twenty year old paint is very nice and the leather is in unusually nice condition. Today there is no evidence of accident or rust repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The body and interior are all original and in superb condition. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The lightweight Euro bumpers are in excellent condition with no discoloration. 308 GT QV s/n 46501 is fitted with a deep “Euro” front spoiler and is mounted on an excellent set of 205/55 ZR 16 front and 225/55 ZR 16 rear Continental Extreme Contact GT tires mounted on the Factory optional Speedline 7 x 16 inch front and 8 x 16 rear wheels and has the correct “thin line” spare wheel and tire. As per the Carfax report, there was an accident reported on 18 Sept., 2010, twenty years ago. As per a text exchange on 31 Feb., with the former Italian-Canadian owner, a lady in a 1994 Hyundai-Elantra ran into the left rear wheel in the driveway of the “ItalVideoDisco” parking lot which required a new left rear wheel. Today there is no sign of any repairs to the left rear inner or outer bodywork or suspension. While in the Lancia Garage paint shop in Montreal in 2002 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 was repaired and repainted from Metallic Silver to Ferrari Rosso Corsa red. The interior is finished in attractive black leather with an excellent patina and the door panels, carpets and dash are also all in excellent condition and look near new. The car makes excellent power with no smoke, and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is firm yet compliant, and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is very good, both when warm and cold. All the switches and gauges are fully operational. Only two years ago 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 was serviced by Milestone Motorcars, 3300 Southwest 14th Place, Boynton Beach, Fl, 33426. The work included a cam and accessory belt service, repair headlight switch, repair passenger door window, replace cracked driver’s side running light lens, repair cracked header on front bank, service the A/C system, repair the fuse box and repair the interior dome light lens, the total invoice was $6,191.24 Just this month 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 was treated to a new shift seal, new oil pan gasket, new rear main seal and transfer case re-seal, two new axle CV joint boots, and a new oil cooler line by Cavallo Pazzo Ferrari Service of Costa Mesa. As part of the service Cavallo Pazzo also fitted new cam belts and cam seals, new valve cover gaskets, new coolant hoses under the intake manifolds, new accessory belts and hoses, plus an engine and trans oil change. The total invoice was $8,469.12 at 41,496 kms (25,784 miles). 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 is in amazingly nice condition for a 38 year old Ferrari and comes with an extensive service file. As a Euro model, 308 GTB QV s/n 46501 features the lightweight Euro bumpers, a deep “Euro” front spoiler and the Factory optional Speedline 7 x 16 inch front and 8 x 16 rear wheels plus the correct “thin line” spare wheel and tire. Also comes with the Jack kit, leather pouch for the owner’s manual and a Factory owner’s manual. The best and the last of the user-friendly 308 GTB series, recently serviced and with only 41,608 kms or 25,854 miles, priced right at $99,950 or best offer.
Are the non-original non-factory fender shields glued on, or are they recessed /imbedded on the fenders?
Complete VIN can be found here. https://ferraris-online.com/cars/1983-ferrari-308-gtb-qv-46501/ I have been interested in the car, but the OP may be in vacation.
Yes, because 40 year old paint wouldn't look this good. Repainted about 20 years ago. They are after market wheels right now because the originals suck. Don't let anyone tell you other wise. The original wheels do come with the car. They are metric TRX and undersized and not staggered. The car drives soooooo much better with the bigger wheel. It is wider and about 3/4 inch bigger in diameter. The color has been changed from Silver to Rosso Corsa. My belief is that the old owner lied to get insurance to pay for it. There is no evidence of an accident on the car. Lots of people ask for repair invoices..... the car just does not have much other than the 12k approx that I did to it. It only has 26k miles and sat for over a decade at one point. The car will be going on BAT soon. If anyone is serious, I can email you the reciepts I have including the 9k I just recently had in service. Small details are being fixed, for aesthetics as there are lots of trolls out there. Please email with any questions. Thank you for your interest.
I just joined the forum after years of researching and utilizing the knowledge here through various projects but unable to PM. I am interested in the car if you can PM contact info to discuss once your schedule allows. Thanks in advance.
