I had purchased that rear wing in 1984....I had it painted and installed on my 82 308 gtb..
It has such a great feel to it...like smooth plastic, but a little spongie.
Koenig was best aftermarket company at time!

Interesting that pistons, cams, carb work and an exhaust give a bump from 340ps to 450ps. Curious if that is real, and what specs the bits had.

    Good day,

These mods were done in period and so one has to view them from that time (the 80's). During that time a lot of higher end cars had all sorts of mods like this and were desirable and/or sought after. Secondly, back then they were just cars and so customization was fairly common. Nowadays... not so much.

    Cheers,

    Sam

I wouldn't have liked the styling back then either, I think its impossible to improve on the looks of most Ferrari's including wheel choice. A Mondial 8 being an exception.

    Good day Paul,

Understood... but you cannot say this for sure, as at the time the styling and perhaps excessive styling was all around. Who knows if all of that could have influenced you? I say this, as I look back on how I dressed back then and shudder...however, it was stylish at the time :) . However, I did have my 308GT4 during the 80's and I kept it mostly stock even though elaborate body mods were often lauded in various publications. Even so, I did modify the door panels to accept a better sound system, as that was considered a necessary upgrade during that time... again I shudder.

    Cheers,

    Sam
