Just listed my 1975 Bricklin for sale on Bringatrailer. No reserve Won't see one of these at your local Cars and Coffee! Bought it a couple years ago, because I wanted one ever since a neighbor won one (at a church raffle) when I was 16 years old, really cool unusual car hitting its 50th anniversary... This one has under 750 miles and is in great shape! No Reserve: 1975 Bricklin SV-1 for sale on BaT Auctions - ending April 2 (Lot #185,998) | Bring a Trailer
A funny side story... I have a friend who likes to poke fun of my Ferrari passion and he calls all 308s bricklins. There were even bricklin police cars in Scottsdale
Just my play on the very specific number - 5150 - which is the California code for "crazy'" or "unstable".... and subsequently the title of a Van Halen album. A bidder has a sense of humor. Image Unavailable, Please Login I've only ever seen 2 Bricklins in person, and I worked on the 2nd one......just over 40 years ago.
I saw one of these in north Houston in the late 90’s. I thought it was some random kit car because I was ignorant. I wish I paid more attention back then. Well before the internet, back in the Auto Trader days of how I learned vintage/foreign cars. Back then, I knew I loved those “Fern” cars, but had no idea how many there were. Very cool Bricklin!
