    Does anyone know the name of the song from the opening scene while Burt Reynolds is driving the maserati powered citroen in the 1974 movie the longest yard?????

    Not sure it's Mr. Saturday Night Special like the website said, but it's definately an L.S. tune.

    It's still playing as the car burbles into the water, as I recall.

    Somehow, I can't see that Pee Wee Herman look alike, Adam Sandler, playing the role that was done perfectly by Burt Reynolds.
