    Dear all,
I need your help for the followed problem, I tried to find info's on european forum but without a correct answer.
I install a TARGA roof on my 1968 OPEL GT but I have a problem with the roof seals.
The window glasses have to go up inside the roof seals, so I need a modification of the windows electric function... The glass has to go for 1 or 2 cm down when I open the door.
    How can I make this?
I can NOT modify the glass motor, I only can use separate electronic card, or sensor, etc....
Which Japan, american or european car has this system?
    Thank you

I believe that the F360 Spyder lowers the window an inch or so when you open the door, then raises it again once closed, to maintain the seal.

    Hope that helps,
    Brian

I know some BMW cabriolets have this feature.

I'd like to see a picture of an Opel GT Targa! Is this similar to the Opel "Aero GT" showcar of 1969? Maybe you can find some pictures of the targa top on the show car, to see how they arranged the seals.

VW New Beetle convertibles also have this feature - likely the least expensive parts source of the brands mentioned so far.

The Opel GT targa looks awesome - both OEM and the conversion. How is the body flex in the modified car?

I wonder if something like this with an updated suspension & perhaps a Honda S2000 engine fitted wouldn't be an awesome Ferrari substitute? :)

The S2000 swap has been talked about by Opel GT fans for some time. I think there are some issues, but I can't recall.

I nearly purchased an Opel back in 1985 or 1986. I love them. I had a 280Z at the time (which I also loved), but the Opel was quirky and cool looking.

The red targa looks fantastic with the BBS-style rims. Good luck with getting yours right!

My engine is an OPEL 2L Turbo..... 320 hp with a GETRAG 6 speed tranny....
    ...for only 920 kg

I had to weld a frame under the shell + a lot of weld parts inside.
I shall put some pic tomorow
