My brother bought this in March 1995 from the original owner, we spent 12 years restoring it to largely original spec. I believe 1968 to be the best year for MGB’s as they have the fully synchronized gearbox,
12v negative ground electrics with alternator, reversing lights as well as leather interior. This car does not have the ugly US spec dash (Abington Pillow) or side marker lights, headrests etc. Restoration included $12,000 spent on body and paint labour. New fenders, doors, hood, no filler. Engine / drivetrain rebuilt. Original colors. The chassis looks as good as the body, no signs of prior accident damage. Fitted with period Lucas Silver Lance driving lights and Triplex “Hotline” heated rear backlight. I personally think this is a very pretty B/GT and I doubt you could find a nicer example at any price. $20,000. Car is located in Portland, Oregon. Shipping can be arranged.

Great looking car! I've been looking off and on for a B GT and this one's somewhat close to me, but it's almost too nice. I'd be afraid to use it.

Beautiful car! I owned a 68 GT in the early 80's, Primrose. Wish I still had it. It was $800.

    Good luck with your sell.

Wow what a lovely little BGT. My very first car was a 67 BGT that I loved. Drove it through college and did lots of autocrossing in during college. These are really great cars. GL with the sale, it looks like it is well worth $20k!!
