It has a ferrari enigine and is made out of some ferrari, but thats as close as it gets to being a SWB.

There are swb recreations, this is not one of them.

It's fine as a 20-footer, but in reality every line on this car is wrong.
For that kind of money you have real Ferrari options.

    I would definitely pass.

Why go to the trouble to get it so wrong?

Thanks guys for the feedback. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going mad. the first thing that jumps out is the shape of the front grill is totally incorrect. It cant have been that hard to make a correct grill shape surely! Anyway as readplays said you have some Ferrari options in that price bracket and I would far rather go for a 246 gt to add to my garage.

This car looks reasonable from the pictures. Does anyone know anything about his car or even better has anyone inspected / seen it in the flesh.. ???

For future reference/searchability, this car was constructed on 330 GT 2+2 s/n 8127, using motor # 5641. It was sold at auction for $204,577 by Coys on 12/04/2012 and was listed for sale by Ideal Motorcars in Allentown, PA this past August with an asking price of $595,000. It's now being offered by Peter Kumar/Gullwing for $389,500.

Here are some images (by Kerry Chesbro) showing the state of 8127 in May, 2007. At the time, the car was without engine or transmission.
