So here is a car that's going to suck up $100,000 in a heartbeat. What should the asking price really be for this car??

I think a price of 'driver' cars are about $320K now. A well restored 250GTEs are going above $450K. It is hard to tell what is needed on this car without doing a proper PPI. Every little missing thing is going to cost a fortune to replace.

330 America's would be more expensive than their GTE counterparts. They have the body of the Series 3 250 GTE and the engine of the 330 GT 2+2. I had a chance to drive one a couple of months ago. It was very nice but the clutch was a bit heavy and I was too cautious for not wanting to damage a half a million dollar car.

In theory yes however , a nice 330 America traded at the RM auction in London at a good deal less than a GTE in the same sale. The America though was later rumoured to have a re-stamped 330 engine. It was "out of fashion" re-sale red and LHD, though so was the GTE.

    330 America lot 149 £ 224 K
    GTE lot 162 £296 K

Perhap because it is a less known model in Europe?

    It is a re-stamp.
