If you open the door while driving, the door will file for legal separation from the rest of the car.

For a while there I was seeing quite a few Multiplas for sale on ebay, but almost all of them were total junk. Makes me feel quite fortunate that mine was in such good shape when I found it. Did you see the "clown car" on ebay?

I've been working on my 600 Sedan lately, it's been sitting in my garage for more than 20 years, untouched. I'm surprised at its shape, could have been on the road a long time ago if I had put some effort into it.

The Multipla is put away for the Winter.

I saw two in Utah, one clown car complete with helium tank, and another "Red Baron" car.

Two Multiplas currently for sale on ebay. One in Oregon, VERY fancy, not really original condition, but "showy", currently under reserve at $26,100. Other is in Texas, a total restoration project, currently under reserve at $9100.

That's a LOT of money for a funky little car that cost less than $2000 new.

The Multipla in Oregon was bid up to $30,000 and didn't make the reserve. No surprise.

The Multipla in Texas SOLD for $10,600. I would consider that to be very high, bearing in mind the amount of work it needs. At some point, someone had cut out the majority of the roof panel on this one, making an unoriginal sunroof model. YUCK!

My then girlfriend (now wife) loved my 2-tone brown Multipla. She called it the Armadillo. You do have to watch those suicide doors, she almost went sliding out once.

Another Multipla has come here to visit for a while. It has been off the road for many years, and is in need of mechanical refurbishing, but it's almost totally rust free. I'm doing this one on a budget, and a limited time frame, so I won't be able to do a whole lot of detail work, but it should be a reliable runner. Mine is a six-seater, this one is a four-seater.

Apologies for going "off topic" however...

I am looking for a Series II Fiat 850 Sports Coupe parts car, in particular the front panel (or clip) and dash...

    Thanks in advance...

Looks dreadful. Stepping over instead of in to the vehicle I guess was for rigidty, but impractical

Thank you for contributing to the Multipla thread, I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of the Eden Roc.

I actually think it looks quite nice, particularly knowing where it came from.
